Eligibility Criteria for CLSS Scheme

Those applying for PMAY CLSS scheme which offers interest subsidy on home loans must meet the following criteria to qualify.

For LIG/EWS category

The beneficiary family must comprise husband, wife, unmarried daughters or unmarried sons.

The annual income of a household must be within Rs. 3 Lakh and Rs. 6 Lakh.

The property must be co-owned by a female member of the family.

This category is eligible to get an interest subsidy of 6.5%.

For MIG I & MIG II categories

Yearly income of the household must be between Rs. 6 Lakh and Rs. 12 Lakh for CLSS MIG I, and Rs. 12 and Rs. 18 Lakh for CLSS MIG II.

A female co-owner of the property is desirable.

In the case of an adult earning member, whether married or unmarried, it should be considered as a separate household.

Eligible candidates under MIG I can get a subsidy of 4% while those under MIG II can get a 3% subsidy.

The big gift of the Modi government will be double the subsidy on the LPG gas cylinder

NEW DELHI: The Modi government of the Center, which has been hit by protests following a huge hike in the price of raw gas cylinders, has given big relief to domestic gas consumers. The central government has almost doubled the subsidy on domestic gas cylinders. The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas issued a statement on Thursday. He also stated the reason for the increase in gas prices.

According to the Petroleum Ministry, Delhi has so far received a subsidy of Rs 143 kg to Rs 153.86, which has been increased to Rs 291.48. In this way, the subsidy received at Rs 174.86 per cylinder on the connections distributed under the Prime Minister's Ujjwala scheme has been increased to Rs 312.48 per cylinder.

How much increase in price
Did you know that the price of subsidized domestic LPG 14.2 kg LPG cylinder has been increased by Rs 144.50? On the other hand, the price of subsidized domestic LPG cylinder has been increased from 714 to Rs 858.50.

Why LPG prices go up
The domestic price of LPG has been raised from $ 448 per MT to $ 567 per MT during January 2020.
Subsidy to over 26 million consumers
The government said that at present, the national LPG coverage is about 97% with over 27.76 crore connections. The government carries an increase of about 26.12 crore customers out of about 27.76 crore.
