In this way, the subsidy received at Rs 174.86 per cylinder on the connections distributed under the Prime Minister's Ujjwala scheme has been increased to Rs 312.48 per cylinder.
How much increase in price
Did you know that the price of subsidized domestic LPG 14.2 kg LPG cylinder has been increased by Rs 144.50? On the other hand, the price of subsidized domestic LPG cylinder has been increased from 714 to Rs 858.50.
Why LPG prices go up
The domestic price of LPG has been raised from $ 448 per MT to $ 567 per MT during January 2020.
Subsidy to over 26 million consumers
The government said that at present, the national LPG coverage is about 97% with over 27.76 crore connections. The government carries an increase of about 26.12 crore customers out of about 27.76 crore.
